Nelumbo Nucifera is known by many names, such as blue lotus, Indian lotus, sacred lotus, bean of India, and sacred water-lily. In Malaysia, it is more commonly known by the name Lotus. Nelumbo Nucifera be referred to by a different name Nelumbium speciosum (Wild.) or Nymphaea Nelumbo. Crossbreed aquatic plant, but if the seed properly maintained, it can last for several years.
